The Tartakovsky Clone Wars Show and Canon

The Genndy Tartakovsky Clone Wars show ran from 2003 to 2004 and bridged the gap between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, showing different battles and events throughout the Clone Wars. George later referred to it as a “pilot series” for TCW and he told the crew of that series that they didn’t have to adhere to it. It was made Legends with the rest of the EU in 2014.

Battlefront II Continuity Breakdown

Continuity Nods and References:

  • After the destruction of the second Death Star above Endor, Admiral Versio says that Vice Admiral Sloane has called a retreat. Not only is this a nod to the character of Rae Sloane from A New Dawn and Aftermath, it is a direct nod to the short story The Levers of Power from the The Rise of the Empire¬†collection, which shows Sloane calling the retreat.
