The Complete Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

The Halcyon‘s voyage begins in the terminal, where passengers are checked in by Chandrila Star Lines. While being checked in, the Datapad is able to provide some helpful information about the upcoming voyage. It informs passengers that Chandrila Star Lines is under investigation by the First Order, and can teach a number of Anzellan phrases introduced to the ship by founder Shug Drabor that are used throughout (“a’ deg a'” as a form of greeting, “ba ma’ shay” as a goodbye, and “ta’ bu e tay” as a way to savor the moment). On the launch pod, windows show the pod launching from the planet and entering hyperspace before arriving at the Halcyon. TraditionalĀ Star WarsĀ score mostly only plays here and at the end of the experience.Ā

At the start of the shipā€™s 275th anniversary cruise, the Halcyon is in the orbit of its home planet Chandrila. Visible out of the bridge or cabin windows are the planet itself and its two moons, Chandra and Chandrakant. Occasionally visible flying past the front of the ship are some of its sister MPO-1400s (which include the Wanderlight, the Idyll, the Sojourn, and the Sterling). The galaxy map in the bridge always shows a number of other planets in the area around the ship’s current location. Terminals display the scheduled route of the shipā€™s cruise as Chandrila to Coruscant to Bespin to the Adinax Nebula to Batuu to the Adinax Nebula again and finally back to Chandrila. This is the first time the Halcyon has traveled back to Batuu since its inaugural voyage 275 years prior.

For further context on theĀ Halcyon‘s history, it plays a key role in The High Republic: Mission to Disaster, while Shug and its sister ship WanderlightĀ are pivotal inĀ The High Republic: Midnight Horizon. The lightsaber shields in the training pod are the same design as Silandra Sho’s shield in The High RepublicĀ phase two. Han and Leia’s honeymoon aboard the ship was depicted inĀ The Princess and the Scoundrel, and the backstory behind why the ship is being investigated by the First Order was given in theĀ Halcyon LegacyĀ comic.

Hanging proudly on the mezzanine in the Atrium is the Unified Galaxy painting, gifted to the ship by Leia after she honeymooned aboard it. In addition to the entry to the bridge, also in the Atrium are the Sublight Lounge and the ship’s shop, the Chandrila Collection. This is all located on deck 6; decks 7 and 5 are exclusively cabins while deck 4 has cabins in addition to the Crown of Corellia dining room, the lightsaber training pod, the climate simulator, the engineering room, the brig, the cargo hold, and the dock for the Batuu transports. A plaque inside the brig identifies it in Aurebesh as being Imperial Security Bureau detention cell 5192.Ā Look closely at the steps up to the mezzanine and you can see lightsaber marks from Asajj Ventress’ fight with Anakin Skywalker on the ship in the Halcyon Legacy comic.

There are theoretically 100 cabins aboard the ship, roughly 33 per deck, though models of the ship’s exterior show 120 windows. The premium cabins include the Grand Hanna Suite, the Grand Sarini Suite, and the Galaxy Class Suites Emita and Nayli, all of which are named after places on Chandrila. There’s also Shug’s personal cabin on the steps between decks 5 and 6, memorializing the Anzellan who built the ship.

Inside the cabins, in addition to a viewscreen and a viewport with a unique angle of the ship’s orbit, there’s an uplink that allows passengers to speak with the ship’s droid D3-09 in real time. She’s capable of answering any questions, telling stories, or just conversing.

While waiting for ship’s muster to start and for the voyage to begin, one open place to explore is the climate simulator, which is set to simulate the climate of the ship’s next destination (in this case, conveniently, Batuu). There are six plants in the climate simulator with Aurebesh plates that identify them and their homeworld: the Shield of Andrasha Geranium from Chandrila, the Bes Gungan Begonia from Naboo, the Katuunko’s Veil from Toydaria, the Bakuran Fire Philodendron from Bakura, the Speckled Scathe Begon from Taanab, and the Toscwon’s Tongue Alocasia from Ithor. The room is favored by the Saja, who may meditate with passengers inside.

The first messages someone receives are from cruise director Lenka Mok, giving advice on what to explore while waiting. If passengers attempt to access the shipā€™s restricted systems using a terminal early on, they receive a communication from Raithe Kole, who notices that they are curious convors. Raithe enables them to hack into the ship consoles and get a special credential code (CSLA) that grants them access to the otherwise-offlimits engineering room. He instructs the passengers to vent the carbon-freezing chamber inside for him.

Inside the engineering room are a number of controls that can be used to tamper with the ship’s systems, and the Ugnaught head engineer Wozzakk can occasionally be heard barking orders over the intercom. The rhydonium fuel controls have different blends named after planets the fuel can be taken from: Abafar, Saracor, Morak, and Tralgaria. A crate can be scanned to reveal tools, and inputting the ship’s registry from the plaque outside allows one to download the ship’s schematics. In a hidden corner of the room are Aurebesh initials spelling HS+LO, carved by Han during his honeymoon.Ā

In the center of deck 4 is a large map of the ship’s 13 decks, including the many ones not accessible for passengers. The Atrium has a few other noteworthy artifacts, like a scale model of the ship outside the bridge (“The Halcyon is a legendary starcruiser known for its many exotic journeys from the Core Worlds to the Outer Rim. Founder and ship builder Shug Drabor used his favorite number in the Halcyon‘s unique design, featuring 13 decks and 13 sublight engines. Recently refurbished by Chandrila Star Line, the Halcyon maintains a tradition of adventure, quality and enjoyment of the journey.”). In the doorway to the Sublight Lounge is the Halcyon Fluke (“During the ship’s dedication this bottle of Chandrilan wine did not shatter against the hull, becoming a symbol of good fortune known as the Halcyon Fluke”). Between the passenger services desk and the Chandrila Collection rests the Hyperspace Compass (“Restored by our founder Shug Drabor in the earliest days of the Halcyon‘s travels”).

The ship muster begins at 4:00 PM. Among the crowd, the Saja introduce themselves and sort passengers into four muster stations. A Mirialian/Togruta musician named Sandro Alimander comes up in the launch pod and begins to interact with the passengers. Lenka walks out into the mezzanine, with astromech SK-620 nearby.

Lenka: Attention, please! Thank you and welcome aboard the Halcyon starcruiser! My name is Lenka Mok, I am the cruise director, and this is SK-620. They are my right-hand droid and an invaluable member of our crew. SK, please monitor our departure operations.

SK: warble beep

Lenka: Thank you for the time check. Now, you’ve met our Saja. They’ve journeyed far beyond the decks of our ship and I’m sure you’ll get to know them better during your adventure. But for now, aurek, besh, cresh, and dorn, when I say ‘are you with me?’ call out your stations together. Now, I have the opportunity, the privilege, to introduce you to our captain. She commands this ship with integrity, a steady hand, and the ferocious hum of a sleeping Loth-cat! May I introduce, captain of the Halcyon, Riyola Keevan!

Keevan: Fair warning, never wake a sleeping Loth-cat. Good afternoon, everyone. We are pleased to have you here with us. Now, we have an exciting voyage ahead but first our priority during space travel is the comfort and well-being of our passengers and that is why we always begin with our muster drill and roll call.

Captain Keevan calls upon stations aurek, besh, cresh, and dorn before resuming her speech. She then demonstrates what will occur when an alarm goes off in the event of an unexpected situation, upon which passengers must find their muster station in the atrium. She assures the crowd that she has only seen the emergency signal activated twice in her career, and there is nothing the ship can’t handle.

Keevan: With that, we have completed our muster alert briefing, so now I will tell you a bit more about my fair ship, the Halcyon. The Halcyon has traveled for more than two hundred years. She has carried royalty and rogues, heroes and warriors. In fact, I began my career aboard the Halcyon as a young quartermaster. Since then, I have been lucky enough to command and serve on many ships in different fleets. I have led voyages of discovery and exploration, but you never forget your first ship, and this one is special. Just look around at your fellow passengers. In fact, take a moment and introduce yourself to someone. Share where you’re from.

Sammie Talks to Lenka

As the crowd talks, the new engineer Sammie walks out onto the mezzanine and talks urgently with Lenka behind the Captain. Keevan calls upon the stations to silence the crowd before resuming.

Keevan: There will never be another voyage like this one, due to the individuals in the atrium here now. You have come from different worlds, distant planets, but you have all chosen to be here, sharing adventure. One that will take us all to the very edge of the galaxy. And with that, Lenka.

Lenka: Thank you, Captain. As your cruise director, I take your fun very seriously. First, always check your datapad for an up to date itinerary. We add activities and yours will remain especially for you. Captain Keevan has told you all about our storied history and I will share with you some of the Halcyon’s unique features. Over here, we have our hyperspace compass, used by Shug Drabor, founder of Chandrila Star Lines. It is a valuable treasure honoring our adventures. Speaking of adventure, each of you is scheduled for our exclusive Halcyon bridge operations training. Who’s excited to experience what it’s like at the helm of the Halcyon? You can find your scheduled bridge training on your datapad. Over here, we have our Sublight Lounge. There you’ll be able to find an eclectic mix of liquid refreshments or even play a round of sabacc. Tomorrow we do have a tournament for those looking for a bit of friendly competition. Saja, what activity will you and your colleagues be leading in our training pods?

Saja: That would be the lightsaber training.

Lenka: You’ll be in excellent hands, and you can find your lightsaber training on your datapad. Was that the rumbling of our engines or is someone hungry? You’re in for a treat. Many treats. And alongside this evening’s magnificent dinner, I can’t believe we have the fabulous star Gaya joining us aboard this ship. Tomorrow we do reach our port of call, Batuu, and if you want a peaceful place to preview Batuu’s climate you’ll want to check out our climate simulator. If you need anything at all, please be sure to check out our ship consoles located here and throughout the ship. Thank you so much.

Keevan: Thank you very much. And now, friends, I would just like to say this is your journey-

Sammie: Captain.

Keevan: This is your adventure-

Sammie: Captain.

Keevan: This is your-

Sammie: Captain!

Keevan: -new ship’s mechanic, Sammie, everybody. Sammie, you should be in the engineering room, yes? But Lenka, why don’t you tell our friends a little more about…

The Captain rushes off to the side to talk with Sammie while Lenka resumes.

Lenka: -Batuu! Batuu is very far so we’re going to have to take hyperspace to get there! Has anyone ever taken hyperspace? I’m really excited about it.

Keevan rushes Sammie out and takes her place again.

Keevan: Thank you so much, Lenka. My apologies, everyone, it seems that we have a surprise docking request but Sammie should be able to handle that so no cause for concern. Halcyon crew, reception protocol 915, please. No cause for concern.

Lenka: As Captain mentioned before, there is nothing this ship cannot handle.

Croy Enters

Sammie reenters the mezzanine, followed shortly by a First Order Lieutenant and a pair of stormtroopers.

Keevan: Good journey! I am Captain Riyola Keevan of the Halcyon. Welcome aboard.

Croy: I am Lieutenant Harman Croy of the First Order.

Keevan: Lieutenant Harman Croy. Lenka, I don’t believe I saw that name on our passenger list.

Lenka: I’m sure you did not, Captain.

Croy: I am on your ship, Captain, because activities of the Halcyon have attracted suspicion.

Keevan: Well, this is a civilian starcruiser. That seems unlikely.

Croy: Yes, a civilian starcruiser whose ports of call seem to routinely coincide with rumors of Resistance activity. A starcruiser with food, supplies, cargo space. A starcruiser filled with passengers from anywhere whose loyalties we do not know.

Keevan: That’s preposterous.

Croy: I quite agree with you, Captain. Can you imagine, harboring Resistance sympathizers? Aiding the enemy? Why, that would be treason.

Lenka: Or reason.

Croy: Your name and position aboard the ship, madame?

Lenka: Lenka Mok, cruise director.

Croy: How fun. Effective immediately, by the authority of the First Order, I will be stationed aboard this vessel for the duration of its voyage. I will investigate the ship, the crew, the passengers-

SK: unhappy bleeps

Croy: Does your droid have something to add?

Lenka: They do not, SK, please.

SK: sad bloops

Croy: Whatever is happening here, the First Order will end it. Work with us and you will be rewarded. However, should you not cooperate, if you decide to resist, there will be consequences.

Keevan: Lieutenant, I don’t believe you’re going to find what you’re looking for here. But since you will be remaining with us, I can assure you that myself, Ms. Mok, our entire crew will do everything we can to ensure that you have a pleasant voyage.

Croy: Then I’ll consider this a working vacation. I will however need somebody to service my ship. You, you seem capable and skilled enough not to make a mess of things. You’ll need schematics, it’s on this datapad. It’s a Xi-class-

Sammie: Xi-class military transport. I built fighters in the shipyards on Corellia. I can handle a shuttle.

Croy: Command shuttle. We’ll keep our eye on you.

Xi class

Sammie turns to leave, awkwardly freezing when he faces a stormtrooper before telling the pair to fall in with false bravado and leaving with them.

Croy: Captain, Lenka. We’ve interrupted your little party, do continue.

Keevan: Not at all. In fact, why don’t I show you to our visitors accommodations. Lenka, I believe you have one more announcement for our guests.

As Croy and Keevan leave, Lenka steps up to the edge of the mezzanine.

Lenka: I for one could use an out of this galaxy sendoff. How about you? Crew, it’s time to pass out those cocktails for our departure celebration. I cannot believe we have the one, the only, Gaya-

Raithe (stepping up in the crowd despite the Saja’s protests): Gaya!…is not here right now.

Lenka: Excuse me, who are you?

Raithe: I am Raithe Kole, Gaya’s manager, except you don’t really manage Gaya, do you? But I handle her business affairs and anything that does need to be managed. Now I’d like to draw your attention up here to Gaya’s exquisitely talented accompanist Ouanni. She will be playing for your departure celebration, you are in for a treat!

Raithe

Note the electro-tattoos on Raithe’s arm, a wink to another notableĀ Star WarsĀ scoundrel.

Lenka: And where exactly is Gaya?

Raithe: Due to an unforseen development requiring her personal attention, Gaya is regretfully unable to be present.

Lenka: But she will be here for this evening’s performance, yes?

Raithe: Yes, yes, we just have to go pick her up and then she’ll join us.

Keevan (reentering): Excuse me, absolutely not. We cannot deviate from our scheduled route. This is a starcruiser.

Raithe: And Gaya is your star. You want Gaya, don’t you, Captain? Everyone? She’ll be waiting.

Keevan: Well, it’s been an eventful day and we haven’t even left port. But I think it’s high time we do. Lenka, is there anything else our passengers should know before we make our jump to Coruscant?

Lenka informs the crowd about some of the specifics of their lightsaber training, bridge ops, and dinners.

Keevan: It’s time for our toast. Now our founder, Shug Drabor, would always begin each journey with the words ‘ta’ bu e tay,’ which translate literally to safe travels. With that, to safe travels, true adventure, and an unforgettable journey aboard the Halcyon: ta’ bu e tay.

A selected family launches the ship into hyperspace as it overtakes every window for a long moment until the ship arrives at Coruscant. Ouanni begins to play her instrument on the mezzanine as the Captain, Lenka, Croy, and Sammie mingle with the crowd of passengers. Through the datapad, both Lenka and Croy reach out in order to enlist passengers. Lenka recruits sympathetic passengers to wipe the shipā€™s system of the unregistered stops sheā€™s had the ship take in the last month to help the Resistance. By the launch pod, Raithe and Lenka personally gather a group to decode a message hidden in Gayaā€™s luggage, which reveals the words ā€œI have data cardsā€ when arranged in the right order. Sammie moves the luggage down to the cargo hold, where the stormtroopers take it. Outside the cargo hold, Sammie then recruits the passengers to help the Resistance and sends them to get close to Croy and learn what the First Order wants.Ā

While wiping the ship’s systems of past secret destinations, passengers have the option to download them as well, though Lenka won’t be thrilled about it. Once downloaded, these past routes can be viewed on the datapad and can be turned over to Croy if passengers are inclined. The two routes include trips to Cantonica, Varkana, Naboo, Christophsis, Pacara, Mon Cala, Anoat, Ryloth, Chandrila, Endor, and Lothal. Many of these files have references to other stories about the Resistance set around this time period.

Shortly after muster is the ship’s first bridge operations training. At the end of the training, Lenka makes contact with Gaya, who affirms Raitheā€™s demand that the ship divert its course to pick her up from her ice spa in the Stassia system. Realizing that the captain has made a deal with Gaya to help the Resistance, Lenka reluctantly recruits the bridge trainees to jump the ship to the spa and pick Gaya up before returning to Coruscant. Outside, the red carpet is unrolled for Gaya’s arrival in the Atrium before she goes to her first performance at the first seating of dinner.

Lightsaber training classes recur throughout the voyage in the training pod. Led by the Saja, a group with old ties to Jedha before its destruction, they involve learning orbak stance to center yourself. As the passengers become more focused, they grow more connected to the Force and able to deflect the bolts with less warning. In addition to sabers, passengers also use light shields to deflect blaster bolts. At the close of the lesson, Yoda’s spirit comes through the room and speaks.

Yoda's Spirit

Yoda: Hmm, first steps have you taken. Good. Brave, you are. For the journey ahead, may the Force be with you.

Saja Thanks

At the end of the next bridge training, the pilot droid AJ-10 (otherwise known as Watch) and SK convince the captain to allow the bridge trainees to assist when the Resistance sends coordinates asking for help in the Jinata system.

Keevan: My friends, my time aboard this ship has been spent in service. Service to the ship itself and to its passengers. I have also devoted my life to a different cause, and this message has been sent to me by some of my contacts who are quite literally risking their lives even as we speak. I would not ordinarily involve passengers in extracurricular activities but there are literally lives at stake and I need your help. I’m glad we can trust each other because we are going to the Jinata system and we are going right now. Watch, load those coordinates in the nav computer.

After navigating an asteroid field there, contact is made with an escape pod carrying Chewbacca, whom Vi Moradi sent to help after learning the First Order was coming. The captain agrees to transport the Wookiee to the Millennium Falcon on Batuu under the condition that he avoids alerting the First Order. After the ship has returned to Coruscant, Sammie covertly meets Chewie in the Atrium when he boards the ship.

As dinner starts, Raithe uses the datapad to reach out to trusted passengers and inform them that Gaya’s secret mission and reason for being invited onto the ship is to give the Captain coordinates for a First Order coaxium transport, because the Resistance has agreed to protect Ryloth from the First Order if she helps them.

For the first dinner in the Crown of Corellia, Raithe introduces Ouanni and Gaya before Gaya begins to perform her set, which includes ‘New World,’ ‘Gaya!,’ ‘Hayananeya,’ ‘Coaxium,’ ‘Poverty of Love,’ ‘Rockstar Queen,’ and ‘Oola Shuka.’ Food served for the dinner includes some deep pulls like Melahnese curry. Before ‘Hayananeya,’ Gaya recounts the history of her Twi’lek people and tells the story of the stone that once brought harmony to her planet, the Hayananeya, until it was taken. She explains she’s been searching for it to bring it home before beginning to sing about it. For ‘Coaxium,’ Gaya recruits the nervous Sandro to sing with her. Chewie uses the crowd’s participation in Ryloth Slide dancing to ‘Rockstar Queen’ as a distraction to sneak around.

At the end of the following bridge training, Croy commandeers the bridge to contact his superior Colonel Talis and report his suspicions that SK contains information about Resistance activity. Talis orders him to publicly extract the information from the droid, and Croy jumps the ship to Kuat to receive supplies that he can use to do so.

Colonel Talis

Talis: Interrogate the droid, extract the information, and let them see you do it.

The ship remains at Kuat for some time, while the stormtroopers guard the hyperspace compass after a silent alarm is triggered when Raithe sends some of his passenger allies to investigate it. The Captain meets with some select passengers outside the cargo hold to assure them she intends to work with the Resistance, and Sandro is thrown in the brig by Croy after writing a protest song.

One optional activity led by crew in the Atrium at various points is Sector Set, which is essentially bingo with a galaxy map. The board includes a wide variety of planets from across the franchise.

Sector Set

Around this time, the Captain reluctantly reaches out to passengers in the datapad to recruit their help with the coaxium deal the next day. Croy similarly reaches out and recruits passengers to search for irregularities in the ship’s cargo hold, which reveals suspicious cargo being carried for the Resistance. Another Croy mission uncovers Sammie’s irregular lack of a record in the ship’s personnel log, pointing to him being a Resistance plant.

At the end of the next bridge training, Sammie reveals to those attending that he is a Resistance spy and takes the ship from Kuat to Malastare in order to make contact with R2-D2 and C-3PO. The ship returns to its regularly scheduled route afterwards, when it jumps to Bespin. At this time, Sammie is arrested by the stormtroopers on the bridge for sabotaging Croy’s investigation and taken to the brig until he’s freed by passengers. Croy sends a message to passengers affiliated with him to alert them to meet him in the Atrium to make an example out of SK later in the night.

Croy's Had Enough

The Saja do their best to conceal Chewie from the First Order. At the end of the later dinner seating, Captain Keevan comes in to speak with Croy. She reveals Sammie is turning over Chewie to the First Order’s custody, in a ruse to have Sammie gain Croy’s trust. She and Sammie take Chewie to the brig, though he doesn’t stay there long.

At the end of the night’s final bridge training, Sammie informs the attendees that he learned from taking information from Croy’s shuttle that there is a TIE Echelon with hyperspace tracking capabilities on Batuu and he needs their help to jump to the Hoth system. In the Hoth asteroid field, the bridge defeats a First Order probe droid before using a relay to make contact with R2 and 3PO.

3PO: The Halcyon? Oh, at last! We have been waiting to hear from you. I have- R2 has been worried.

3PO tells Sammie they have intercepted First Order communications and discovered that if any of the crew goes down to Batuu, it could put the entire planet in jeopardy. R2 recommends that the passengers instead carry out the mission to install an autopilot override of his design onto the TIE Echelon. Lenka arrives on the bridge as Sammie jumps the ship back to Bespin. Lenka tells Sammie she has led the First Order to SK as a distraction so that passengers could help Chewie get off the ship again, and that Sammie will have to install a restraining bolt on SK to maintain the ruse until they can find a way to free the droid.

Croy reaches out to question passengers about Sammie’s new plans, and he’ll recruit some to acquire the ship schematics for him. After having passengers intercept Croy’s communications, Lenka learns about how he wants the ship’s schematics and has passengers retrieve them for her as well.

At the end of the night, all passengers gather in the Atrium for Lenka’s evening toast. Accompanied by his stormtroopers, Croy interrupts to execute his plan to bolt SK on the mezzanine.

Croy: Lenka, your lies are transparent. I know that you and SK-620 are Resistance sympathizers.

Lenka: You don’t have any proof of that!

Croy: Oh, you’ve made your feelings perfectly clear since my arrival.

Lenka: That doesn’t prove that SK has done anything wrong.

Croy: It’s not what the droid has done, it’s what it’s carrying. We will need a restraining bolt to disable it.

Lenka: Lieutenant, I will cooperate, just let SK go.

Croy: Afraid of what we’ll find, Ms. Mok?

Lenka: Afraid of what you’ll do to SK. SK is our friend. They are a valuable part of this crew.

Croy: It’s a droid. Now where is that mechanic, Sammie? Ah, there you are. I believe that this droid facilitates communication, gathers information, between factions of the Resistance. This is the kind of evidence of vital interest to the First Order. So as ship’s mechanic, why don’t you do the honors, come up here, and attach the restraining bolt.

Sammie: Sir? I would be honored to, but I feel like the troopers might be better suited for the job.

Croy: Sammie, I would very much like to report your continued cooperation, and after your sterling work in the dining room you will receive a commendation from the Order for this. Get up here! Good. Troopers, let’s do this properly. SK unit, you are suspected of aiding the Resistance, therefore we are placing you in the custody of the First Order.

Lenka: Even if you bolt SK, you still won’t have proof for your superiors.

Croy: Of course we will. We’re using the restraining bolt in order for us to decrypt and upload all of the information. We will uncover all of the Resistance data this droid is carrying. The data then will be sent for analysis, I for one eagerly await the report. Lenka, you could have worked with me but instead it’s become obvious you have conspirators. Members of the Halcyon crew are working for the Resistance, perhaps even some of your passengers. This is the kind of evidence we’ll uncover, among other things.

Lenka: You don’t touch them!

Croy: Stand down or when I’m finished extracting the memory banks I’ll wipe it! Mechanic, perform your duties please.

Sammie Bolts SK

Sammie reluctantly bolts SK on the edge of the mezzanine as Croy watches in satisfaction before retiring to his cabin for the evening. Lenka refuses to allow the lieutenant’s actions to ruin the journey and Raithe aids her in engaging the passengers to toast the best parts of the journey so far. Raithe toasts Lenka herself before Lenka gives a speech about their hope for tomorrow, “together as one.” Raithe reminds the passengers about Gaya’s acoustic performance planned for the Atrium the next day and Lenka finishes it off.

Lenka: Here’s to another Gaya show, to Batuu adventures, and to stars that light our way. Ta’ bu e tay!

Once everyone has retired for the evening, the Saja reach out to inquire about which faction passengers are leaning towards. Lenka recruits passengers to scramble the transfer of SK’s data and temporarily delay Croy’s efforts before giving them a mission to find someone on Batuu to help get the bolt off SK and a forger to help with the ship schematics. Sammie reiterates that the passengers will be installing the autopilot into the Echelon. The Captain asks passengers for help to complete a Resistance mission on Batuu, while Raithe informs them that he has made a deal with his peer Hondo Ohnaka to help get the coaxium. Raithe also recruits his closest allies to help with a heist to steal the Hayananeya from the center of the hyperspace compass in the Atrium for Gaya.

The Saja also make contact with some of their allies among the passengers to recruit for a different mission on Batuu the next day focused on retrieving Jedi artifacts with Savi’s help.

The ship jumps from Bespin to spend the night in the Adinax Nebula before jumping to Batuu the following morning. Late in the Sublight Lounge, Sandro gets into an argument with Ouanni over Gaya and damages their budding relationship.

The following day begins with a datapad message reminding passengers about the Batuu excursion that takes them to Docking Bay 3. Sammie reminds his allies about the Echelon mission while the Captain gives a mission to transmit an update to General Organa. Lenka makes a plan to get help from Mubo for SK’s unbolting, and Raithe gives instructions on where to find Hondo.

The transports and Docking Bay 3 are fairly run down compared to the ship, as they’re run by Oga. A sign leading to the transport on the ship’s side has some warnings and the following hallway is lined with travel posters for voyages to planets like Naboo. The transport wall has a plaque with details about the pilot droid, J6-F8. Signs in the Docking Bay include one with Batuu’s coordinates and an ad for the cantina hastily plastered by Oga. The voyage from Batuu on the transport includes a message from the pilot droid.

Watch: Batuu transport 1, this is AJ-10 on the Halcyon starcruiser. You are clear to undock.

J6-F8: Copy, control. Activating undocking sequence now.

Watch: Copy that.

J6-F8: And for your safety, please remain seated throughout your voyage. Hold on to the handrails with your hands, tentacles, and other appendages. And please supervise your younglings. Thank you!

J6-F8 (after the shuttle has launched): Bright suns, passengers! Welcome aboard the Batuu transport. I am J6-F8 and I’ll be your pilot for this short journey. I always say when you’re with J6, you can just relax, sit back, and enjoy the ride. Now if this is your first time visiting Black Spire Outpost, welcome, you’re in for a treat. Black Spire is the largest settlement on our beautiful planet of Batuu. During your visit, be sure to look out for the Black Spire, located in front of the famous, or should I say infamous, Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. Specializing in rare relics, Dok’s den is the perfect place for the loved one who has everything. A stop at Black Spire Outpost is not complete without visiting Oga’s Cantina, once again voted best drinks this side of the sector. I like ’em and what do I know, I’m a droid. Try the Fuzzy Tauntaun, Hyperdrive, or Blue Bantha as you enjoy the musical stylings of my fellow pilot and good friend Rex. I hear he’s an even better DJ than pilot.

When Starcruiser passengers prepare to board the Falcon for their mission with Hondo, he has a unique remark for them.

Hondo: Well, well. Passengers from their fancy galaxy cruiser. Let’s see if those coordinates from your contact are any good.

With the coaxium secured, Raithe also sends his allies to acquire a decoy Hayananeya from Zabaka at Toydarian Toymakers for the heist later.

After helping Zabaka find a pit droid head, she’s able to produce the decoy and has it sent to the ship.

The Saja have their allies find crates containing Jedi artifacts like training remotes and portable viewscreens before sending them after a particularly special shipment in Dok-Ondar’s possession. Passengers are forced to negotiate with Dok’s employee Tohago.

Tohago agrees to sell what he believes is the junk from Lotho Minor to the passengers, and the Saja make plans to open the crate with the passengers later in the evening.

Sammie has his allies install the autopilot program from R2 onto the TIE Echelon in the First Order base, with the ship successfully prepared to be brought up later in the day.

Croy similarly sends his allies to the TIE Echelon to install measures to keep the hyperspace tracking technology secure.

Lenka gets in touch with Mubo and he uploads an unbolting program to one of his droids that passengers can then retrieve to bring back to her on the ship.

When visiting Oga’s Cantina, telling your server that “Oga has information for me” causes them to give you a special coaster, which Lenka and Croy advise their allies to scan to make contact with a forger that can help with this ship schematics. Reading the Aurebesh bulletin board in the cantina also reveals a want ad for a mechanic from Captain R. Keevan, which could give a clue as to where Sammie came from.

The scan puts the passengers in touch with Gwellis Bagnoro, who helps both sides in exchange for a favor (shutting down the loud podrace engine cooker in the market) by giving the First Order datatapes to override the ship’s controls and the Resistance datatapes to bypass the safety protocols of the override. When returning from Batuu, some passengers are entrusted with the crates to take back with them.

Both Croy and the Captain send their allies to the Resistance encampment, where they end up caught in the middle of the battle above the planet.

Back on the ship, Lenka has passengers upload the unbolting program while Croy has his allies establish a comms channel with a transmitter in the cargo hold. In the Crown of Corellia, Raithe and Gaya visit the sabacc tournament.

With the cargo bay unlocked, passengers can discover confiscated items like death sticks, Hutt relics, and an ID card for Baron Papanoida. One optional activity in the Sublight Lounge is Cantina Chronicles, which involves learning the history of three drinks: the Yerdua Poison Spitter Drop from Felucia, the Muja Twist from Takodana, and the Blue Milk Citrus Fizz from Tatooine.

As passengers return to the ship, Lenka uses younglings racing their droids around the Atrium as a distraction to keep Croy from noticing the Saja unbolting SK on the mezzanine and rushing the droid off to safety. Checking in with D3 after reveals that the First Order retaliates by forcing their way into her room and cutting her signal. At the end of a bridge training, Lenka and SK jump the ship to Yakorki to use a Resistance relay to get in touch with Chewie on Batuu and learn more about the First Order’s plan.Ā

Shortly after an early evening autograph session with Gaya, Raithe uses a clueless Sandro and some of his most trusted passenger allies to cause loud distractions in the Atrium that draw the crew’s attention so he can slip behind the desk and swap the real Hayananeya for Zabaka’s fake. The Captain confronts him afterwards with her suspicions but he pulls off the switch. Outside the cargo bay, Gaya and Raithe meet with their allies so Gaya can thank them for their help in retrieving the stone and bringing hope back to her people on Ryloth.

Lenka tells some of her allies among the passengers about the “ignite the spark, light the fire” phrase used to signal Resistance loyalty, which can be used to reveal secret Resistance pins in the Chandrila Collection. At the end of the final bridge training, Colonel Talis contacts the ship to speak with Captain Keevan.

Talis: We’ve studied your history, which is exactly why I installed one of my officers on your ship. The Lieutenant’s investigations has intensified our suspicions. I believe the Halcyon and its crew are providing support to the Resistance. It would be disappointing to find that the Captain was at the center of it. And of course we must consider the actions of your passengers.

Keevan: The Halcyon is a civilian starcruiser-

Talis: Given recent developments on Batuu and our Star Destroyer, I’d say that’s in question. We will find every last traitor aboard your ship. Until we do, the Halcyon is not to leave this orbit.

Keevan: I command this ship, and I must ensure the safety of my crew and passengers.

Talis: How commendable. I will be dispatching a squadron of TIE Fighters, they will soon form a perimeter around the Halcyon, ensuring that it stays right where I want it. In addition, until I eradicate the Resistance scum, no one will be allowed to board or leave your ship. Our fighters will enforce compliance with this blockade.

Keevan: Blockade? But we still have passengers on Batuu!

Talis: Then it is difficult to ensure their safety, isn’t it? When our investigation is complete, we will determine the fate of the Halcyon and of your passengers.

Keevan hurries to bring the last passengers back from Batuu and with the help of the bridge trainees Sammie jumps the ship to a Resistance relay in the Castilon system to call for aid before the blockade can be enacted. After the ship returns to Batuu, Croy uses his authority to take direct control and celebrates by redecorating the mezzanine with First Order banners as the blockade begins, while Keevan orders Sammie to stand down for the time being.Ā

After the call for aid and the start of the blockade, Captain Keevan meets with Lenka and their allies among the passengers on the bridge. The Captain explains the blockade and how they will need the Resistance’s help before Lenka leaves for the engineering room.

Watch: Sensors detect a ship on high-speed approach.

Keevan: A ship?

Watch: Batuu transport.

Keevan: What are they doing, they’re going to get themselves killed. Watch, open the comms.

Rey: Pilot, faster please.

J6-F8: Oh, faster than a TIE fighter? I wish I thought of that!

Keevan: Rey! It’s good to see you but what are you doing on a Batuu transport?

Rey: Long story.

J6-F8: Not really! She hijacked my shuttle!

Rey: Borrowed!

J6-F8: Hijacked!

Rey: General Organa received your distress signal. She’s sending for help to free the Halcyon. Until then, I’ll do what I can to protect the ship and all of you, if I can get there in one piece.

J6-F8: Does this ship look like an X-wing to you?

Rey: It looks like the only ship I could find! Which is unfortunate. I bypassed the throttle limiter but it wasn’t good for this.

J6-F8: Neither was I if anyone’s asking!

Rey: No one’s asking.

The Captain tells Rey she will try to take out a few of the TIE fighters surrounding the ship to give Rey a clearer path before having her allies man the bridge stations. Blue Leader makes contact with the bridge to tell them that help is on the way. After the X-wings help fend off the TIEs, the Captain reestablishes comms with Rey.

Rey: I hope you’re planning to join our fight against the First Order, because I think you just did. Welcome to the cause.

J6-F8: Wait, I joined what now?

Rey: Chewie told me you’ve been boarded by the First Order. We can’t let your ship fall into their hands.

Keevan: We’re all in this together, Rey.

Rey: Yes, we are. We’ll find a way to get the Halcyon to safety. Until then, don’t let the First Order get suspicious. We don’t want more trouble than we’re ready for. So, permission to come aboard?

Keevan: Permission granted.

Rey comes on board the ship through the transport dock and makes contact with the Saja. Sammie sends his allies to the cargo hold to scan crates and locate the frequency of the First Order communications so the Captain can jam them.

In the engineering room, Croy and Lenka each meet with their supporters at different times to prepare for that night with the datatapes from Batuu, the former to shut down the ship and the latter to bring it back online. Raithe meets his allies on the bridge in order to get the coaxium from Hondo, who flies his ship the Katooni up to deliver it.

Hondo: This is Hondo Ohnaka, of Ohnaka Transport Solutions.

Raithe: Hondo Ohnaka, Raithe Kole.

Hondo: Who, what? I should be speaking with Gaya.

Raithe: She’s otherwise engaged, you may speak freely to me.

Hondo: Ohoho, Hondo does nothing for free. I am on my way as arranged and I shall reach the Halcyon- TIE fighters! And they are shooting at my ship!

Raithe: Hondo, do you have the coaxium?

Hondo: Of course I have your precious cargo, but Hondo is also precious cargo. And since being shot at was not part of the deal, the deal is off. Precious cargo is gone and now I am too. Goodbye!

Raithe: You’re not playing me, Ohnaka!

Hondo: Oh I am talking, believe me, and I have recalculated the risk. Add forty percent to my fee.

Raithe: You will take thirty, and we will take out those fighters.

Hondo: Oh, very well. I’m approaching fast, ready your weapons.

Raithe hesitantly commands the passengers to shoot down those TIEs and ensure Hondo’s delivery until X-wings from the Resistance led by Blue Leader arrive to help.

Hondo: Hohoho, my friends, my friends. Now that was some impressive blasting. Well done. Now, your coaxium will soon be aboard the Halcyon and as we say in the completely legitimate shipping business, always give credits when credits are due. And my friends, credits are due.

Raithe: You’ll get your money, Hondo.

Hondo: Yes, I know, I always do. Ohnaka Transport Solutions hopes you are one hundred and thirty percent satisfied. Ohnaka out.

Lenka boards the bridge and Raithe tells her the delivery was a success, which is enough for Lenka to forgive him for slicing into the bridge controls and using the ship’s weapons without authorization to do so. The bridge empties back into the Atrium, where Gaya will do her acoustic set before leaving the ship to distract Croy from finding out about the coaxium delivery. Croy catches onto the act and interrupts the concert from the mezzanine.

Croy: What do you say you and I drop this public pretense, just for once? I know perfectly well that you continue to use Gaya, a superstar, as a cover for your subversive activities. Shame on you, Gaya is innocent in these matters.

Gaya: Well, I don’t think I’ve ever been accused of being innocent before.

Lenka: Lieutenant, this is unfortunate. I’d hate to say goodbye in this way.

Croy: I couldn’t agree with you more. Ms. Gaya, this is extremely unfortunate. I’ll look forward to enjoying your performance once I’ve cleared this up. Sammie, I see you’re here volunteering to bring that crate up to me. Now get up here, troopers, escort him. The reason I’ve called your attention is in the cargo bay I was shocked to discover and confiscate this crate of coaxium, which matches perfectly with coaxium stolen earlier today from a First Order transport on Corellia. Ring any bells? The brave surviving TIE fighter pilots inform us that somehow it was passengers from this ship that were flying none other than the Millennium Falcon. Imagine my surprise.

Sammie: Lieutenant Croy, I’m not surprised at all.

Croy: You’re not surprised? The Resistance contraband has ended up in your cargo bay and this doesn’t surprise you?

Sammie (stammering): Here’s the thing- We’re a starcruiser- We go from port to port and sometimes people load different cargo into the wrong ship- this one time, we got a shipment of puffer pigs and they got loose and they were running through the Atrium and I named one Spanner-

Saja: Yes, I was there! Spanner got loose in the Crown of Corellia-

Croy: Enough of this! Saja, isn’t it? I would not align yourself with this mechanic. He has proven he cannot be trusted. Why should I trust him and you now?

Saja: Like you, Lieutenant, the Saja are transparent, I can assure you of that.

Croy: Transparent? Excellent. In your transparency, could you tell me, are there any more Resistance deliveries in your cargo bay?

Saja: The only way we can get to the bottom of this is if Sammie goes and investigates.

Croy: Excellent idea. You will go to the cargo bay and search everything, troopers, escort him.

With the interruption over, Gaya calls upon Sandro to preform ‘Oola Shuka’ with her and resume the concert. Croy comes down from the mezzanine and Raithe uses the distraction to delicately take the coaxium from its crate unnoticed. Passengers shield Raithe from vision as he stores the coaxium and an injector in pieces of Gaya’s luggage. Once the song is over, Gaya says farewell to Croy on the mezzanine as the crew takes her luggage. She says a final goodbye to Sandro in the Sublight Lounge and tells him that Ouanni has decided to stay behind, as the Saja take the cases of her luggage with the fuel and injector.

In the lightsaber training pod, Rey meets with SK, the Saja, and their allies among the passengers. The Saja open the crate from Batuu to reveal a Jedi Holocron and Rey calls upon the passengers to help her activate the Holocron with the Force. The Holocron opens and plays a message from Yoda.

Yoda: Greetings. Hmm. Openness, you have. Strong with the Force, you are. Trust you, I must. Master Yoda, I am. For many years in isolation but never alone. Always with me, the Force is. Always revealing itself if open one is. Discoveries of new abilities, secrets of the Force, legends I thought but now I know are real. Hmm. Uncertain times, these are. Tempted those on the dark path will be.Ā Much, much at stake. Keep these safe you must. Unimaginable power, these secrets carry, with a terrible cost. Yes, terrible. In this Holocron I have placed a collected knowledge, wisdom of the Force. To you who follow the path of the light, hope to the galaxy will you bring. Your name, I know not. Your spirit, mmm, yes, that I feel. Strong is your connection to the Force. Know you, I feel I do. But should never we meet, may the Force be with you, always.

Remembering that Yoda had trained Luke, Rey speculates that the Holocron must have once belonged to Luke Skywalker. She realizes that Kylo Ren will be coming for it and it must be protected from him. Rey says they will wait to act until the time is right, but it must be kept secret until then. After thanking the passengers, she leaves to give Sammie the injector for the coaxium.

Sammie and some of his allies on the bridge contact Chewbacca to help inject coaxium into the shipā€™s power core to bring it back online when the First Order shuts it down. Chewie is flying the Falcon back from Batuu but is under attack by the First Order blockade. Sammie and the bridge team fight off the TIEs until X-wings led by Blue Leader arrive to help. The Falcon docks successfully and Raithe reassures Sammie that his people have gotten the coaxium for the plan.

With Chewie back on ship, Sammie escorts him down from the mezzanine. Sandro sees his friend from last night and joins them to ask for advice about his fight with Ouanni, ignorant to the stakes. Walking down to deck four, Chewie and Sammie reunite with Rey and the Saja. Meanwhile, Croy continues to prepare the engineering room for his plan.Ā

Sammie gathers some of his allies on the bridge before going to the engineering room, where he meets with some of his other allies to further prepare the ship, leaving the ones on the bridge with Lenka. Lenka makes contact with Hondo, who has agreed to escort the TIE Echelon with its autopilot up to the ship for a price.

Hondo: Greetings! This is Hondo Ohnaka, of Ohnaka Transport Solutions

Lenka: Lenka Mok, cruise director of the Halcyon. You have the Echelon, right?

Hondo: Yes, yes, of course. Almost there. It’s flying right beside me. That autopilot is not too shabby, my friends. I might even want one for my- Ah, TIE fighters! This was not part of the deal!

Lenka: But the Echelon-

Hondo: Yes, the Echelon is quite important to you, of course, but my ship the Katooni is important to me. For now, Hondo has to save his Katooni. I’m going back to Batuu, the Echelon can make it from here. Well, as they say, goodbye, and good luck.

Lenka: Hondo, we need that Echelon.

Hondo: Ahaha, well now, as the risk has increased, so must my fee.

Lenka: Watch, patch me through to the Resistance.

Watch: There is no secure relay station near Batuu.

Lenka: We have to risk it.

Watch: Very well. Comm channel open.

3PO: Who is it, R2? The Halcyon?

Lenka: 3PO, it’s Lenka.

3PO: It’s so good to- oh my! This is an open frequency, we’ll be discovered for sure, R2, disconnect immediately.

R2: bloop beep

3PO: Oh very well, R2 says he can temporarily scramble the frequency without a proper encryption.

Lenka: Hondo is on the way with the Echelon, TIE fighters are everywhere and he wants to cut and run.

3PO: The tracking system aboard that TIE Echelon is vital to the Resistance! I will have a fighter squadron redirected to your coordinates. Without their help, I calculate the odds of him running off TIE fighters while escorting that ship to be-

Hondo (resuming his transmission): Forty percent. I have reevaluated the risk.

3PO: I’m afraid my calculations indicate no more than twenty.

Hondo: What? Twenty-five. Thirty.

3PO: I suppose with a skilled pilot, thirty percent could be plausible.

Hondo: Thirty percent. Do we have a deal?

3PO: Deal?

Hondo: Hahaha, excellent, and well played, droid.

3PO: Well, I do pride myself on accurate probability calculation.

Hondo: Of course you do. Evading.

Lenka: 3PO, not like you to negotiate with a pirate.

3PO: I assure you, I would never negotiate with a pirate. The Resistance squadron should be there soon, if you can keep those TIE fighters at bay a little longer.

Lenka: With this group, we can.

3PO: General Organa is most grateful to all of you for helping the Resistance. Thank you, everyone.

R2: beep beep

3PO: I was negotiating with a pirate?

Hondo: Hello, I am still being shot at. I will keep the Echelon out of danger, but you’d better take care of those TIE fighters.

Lenka: We definitely owe you one.

Hondo: Yes, you do. Everyone owes Hondo. Ohnaka out.

The passengers manage to hold off the TIEs until Blue Leader returns with his X-wings and ensures the Echelon’s safe delivery. Afterwards, the Captain boards to bridge to release loaders set to jam Croy’s frequencies and prevent him from contacting the First Order. In the engineering room, Sammie and Chewie meet with some of their allies to explain how they need to use the datatapes to prepare for override in order to delicately inject the coaxium and reactivate the ship.

Back on the bridge, Croy meets with his supporters and has them use the ship’s weapons to destroy the loaders. First Order gunships approach as the bridge attacks the loaders and believe the ship is violating the blockade by firing upon them, while Croy is unable to communicate the situation because of the jamming. After a skirmish, Croy is able to get through to Talis.

Talis: What?

Croy: Colonel Talis, we are being fired upon by a First Order gunship. Stop them!

Talis: Watch your place, Lieutenant.

Croy: Yes, I’m sorry. Sir, the attack on the Finalizer-

Talis: -happened on your watch! And among the attackers were passengers from the Halcyon. That ship is crawling with Resistance scum. Now why shouldn’t I just destroy it?

Croy: Because I’m on it, sir!

Talis: You’ll need more than that.

Croy: Because I’m making progress. We extracted data from the SK unit-

Talis: I haven’t seen it.

Croy: It’s encrypted! But I will break it. We are working to root out Resistance operatives among the Halcyon’s crew. I will break them as well.

Talis: Promises are not progress, Lieutenant.

Croy: Rey is on board, sir!

Talis: The Resistance hero. She’s nothing to me.

Kylo Ren (revealing himself): She is valuable to me.

Talis: Supreme Leader?

Kylo Ren: I will deal with her. Prepare for my arrival.

Talis: Hear me. I want the data, I want the traitors, and I want the scavenger. They will watch their hero fall to the First Order. Fulfill your mission, Lieutenant, and if you cannot I will send a squadron who can.

Later, the Captain meets with some of her allies on the bridge as well and tries to make a plan to get through the blockade. Blocked by a Star Destroyer, she communicates with Talis.

Talis: You have some things to answer for. Transporting equipment and supplies for the Resistance, facilitating espionage against the First Order, harboring Resistance fugitives, recruiting for the Resistance among your passengers, leading to the near-destruction of a Star Destroyer. That one I take personally. You’ve played a dangerous game and I’m afraid you’ve lost. The Halcyon and everyone on board will surrender to me.

Keevan: Absolutely not. I will take full responsibility for these actions. However, the ship, crew, and passengers go free.

Talis: This was not a negotiation. I will be taking the Halcyon and everyone on it.

The Captain calls on Blue Squadron and Blue Leader to help but just as she prepares to jump to hyperspace, the shipā€™s power goes out and a red alert begins. Down in the climate simulator, Sammie and Sandro are both saddened over their respective troubles when the red alert goes off. The second dinner is interrupted and all passengers respond to the red alert by finding their muster stations in the Atrium. From the mezzanine, Croy confronts the Captain. He informs the Captain that he is now in command of the ship because of the Captain’s harboring of Rey, and thanks his specific allies among the passengers for helping him secure it. He orders the stormtroopers to get Sammie out of his sight when the mechanic tries to protest and Sammie is led away by one of them. After this is when Kylo Ren enters the mezzanine.

Croy: Supreme Leader! I have everything under control.

Kylo: I don’t share your assessment, Lieutenant.

Kylo Punishes Croy

Kylo: Captain! Where is she?

Keevan: I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Kylo: You talk, or they scream.

Rey: Stop! You will not harm them.

Kylo: Collateral damage!

Rey: Your fight is with me!

Kylo pulls down the Atrium chandelier as Rey enters the mezzanine and ignites her saber. The two talk as they engage in a brutal duel.

Rey and Kylo Fight

Rey: The First Order doesn’t even matter to you!

Kylo: Something’s different.

Rey: What changed?

Kylo: You betrayed me, and now you’re alone.

Rey: I am never alone.

Kylo: After all this time, you’re still holding on. To what? The Jedi? The Resistance? They’re gone, Rey, so let them go.

Rey: No, I won’t. Ignite the spark! (prompting the passengers to respond with “light the fire”)

Kylo: The Jedi have lost. The Resistance is shattered. Let them die, Rey. That is how you become who you were meant to be.

Rey: What you are is not who I was meant to be.

After knocking her around, Kylo briefly reclaims the Skywalker saber.

Kylo: I see you repaired it. Don’t forget, this belongs to me.

Chewbacca appears in the crowd and fires his bowcaster at Kylo, giving Rey an opportunity to evade him. Kylo uses the Force to pull Rey to him.

Kylo: You can’t change what has happened. The past is dead. We can be the future. We can rule the galaxy together.

Saja: No! We stand united! Together! Together!

Passengers: As one! As one!

Kylo: You think that you can restore balance to the galaxy? You alone don’t have that power. I gave you the chance to be more and now all that you’ve lost, all that you’ve become is for nothing.

Rey: What we fight for is not for nothing. It’s for everything!

With her saber reclaimed, Rey fights Kylo off and uses the Force to knock him down. She calls upon SK to play a message from Yoda on the holocolumns.

Yoda's Message

Yoda: In this holocron, discoveries of new abilities, secrets of the Force, unimaginable power. Keep these safe, you must. Much, much at stake.

Kylo: No. That was destroyed in Skywalker’s temple. It should not have survived!

Rey: It survived because in the message is hope! And hope you cannot destroy.

Kylo: Those secrets, that power should be mine. I want that holocron!

Kylo and Rey

Croy attempts to have his men take the holocron from the Saja in the crowd but Rey pulls it up to her on the mezzanine.

Rey: It’s not. I know where this belongs, and I’m taking it to Leia.

Kylo: She’s weak! I will have that holocron, Rey. Don’t make me come through you and take it.

Rey: Follow me and try.

Rey quickly flees the mezzanine with the holocron, leaving Kylo angered.

Kylo: I want collateral damage. Do your job, Lieutenant.

Croy: But sir! There are people here who are loyal to the First Order!

Kylo (leaving to follow Rey): Destroy them all.

Croy reluctantly begins to order his stormtroopers to fire on the crowd, but he’s stopped when one of his troopers near Chewie removes his helmet to reveal Sammie, having overpowered and replaced the trooper who took him away. The Saja help Sammie neutralize the other troopers while Croy is forced to surrender.

Keevan: Well, Lieutenant, it seems you have been relieved of your rather short-lived command. I believe you have a report to file. SK, patch him through, use the Lieutenant’s own clearance codes.

Croy: How do you have my clearance codes? This is Lieutenant Croy aboard the Halcyon. This operation has reached its end. The Halcyon is now clear.

First Order Officer: In your last report-

Croy: The Supreme Leader is resolving the problem.

First Order Officer: We will inform the General.

Keevan: Well, now that that’s over, get them off my ship!

Keevan Retakes the Ship

Croy: I seem to be missing a stormtrooper.

Sammie: Oh, yeah, garbage chute. Don’t worry, he’s fine, we’ll drop him off at the next port.

As Croy is forced away, Rey rushes back to the mezzanine with the holocron.

Rey: With the clearance codes our friends got from the Resistance, we gave the TIE Echelon’s autopilot a good head start, but it won’t be long before Kylo senses that I’m not flying it. You need to get your passengers to safety. Let’s get the Halcyon’s power restored.

Chewie: roars

Rey: Chewie says the activator is already in place?

Keevan: We had some help.

Rey: Good work. The coaxium you captured will recharge the power core.

Keevan: Lenka, are you ready to engage the activator?

Lenka: Yes, I am, Captain.

Lenka turns the ship’s power back on, restoring everything to normal. Sammie announces that the ship is officially free of the blockade and Watch jumps the ship to hyperspace, sending it to its scheduled ending location in the Adinax Nebula.

Rey: Now that that’s settled, I need to get this to General Organa along with the data that SK is carrying.

Chewie: roars

Rey: Why don’t you ask them?

Chewie: questioning roar

SK: beep beep

Lenka: SK, you absolutely should go with them. We’ll miss you but the Resistance needs you.

Sammie: SK, I just wanted to apologize for the whole bolting situation. And Chewie, arresting you, no hard feelings, right?

Chewie: moderately accepting grunt

Rey: Sammie, doing what is right is not always the same as doing what is easy. You’re one of us now.

Sammie: Best day ever.

Rey: SK, how would you like to see the Millennium Falcon?

SK: thrilled beep

Chewie: excited roar

Rey: It’s a little soon for copilot! Thank you, my friends. Your courage gives us all hope. May the Force be with you.

Rey, Chewie, and SK all depart, leaving Lenka and the Captain to rip off the First Order banners from the mezzanine as the Falcon can be seen departing out the window.

Sammie: Captain, quick question.

Keevan: Of course.

Sammie: I was wondering if I could keep the suit.

Keevan: May it bring you joy. Well, that was something, wasn’t it? You know, this was quite an adventure and for you as well, it turned into quite a mission. Now I know that we may have had our differences throughout this journey. Some of you helped to hide Chewbacca from the First Order while others told them exactly where to find him. Some of you went on missions for the Resistance and others carried information for Lieutenant Croy. Allegiance is a powerful thing, especially when you believe strongly in a cause. Everyone believes they’re doing the right thing, otherwise they wouldn’t do it. But the right thing right now is for us to celebrate our journey together.

Raithe: Captain, Lenka, I have got to congratulate you on a spectacular voyage. The crew of the Halcyon is just spectacular. Speaking of spectacular, who here has heard Ouanni and Sandro play? Well, I have the most spectacular news. I am going to be representing Ouanni and Sandro on their way to becoming galactic superstars! I have to thank you for attracting such amazing talent to the ship.

Sandro: Mr. Kole, thank you. Thank you so much to all of our friends. Without you we would never have found our voice.

Raithe: Very kind of you to give credits where credits are due.

Lenka: Mr Kole, I’m sure you have all the credits you need. Sandro and Ouanni, I’m sure we’re going to find a sweet place for you to play before the night is out. But right now…

Keevan: It is time to celebrate our journey home.

Lenka: Here’s to one extraordinary journey…

Keevan: And the beginning of a thousand more.

As the end credits music swells, a fireworks celebration begins outside the ship in the Adinax Nebula.

Fireworks

Down in the Crown of Corellia dining room, Raithe introduces Ouanni and Sandro for their first set together during a dessert party, and announces that they will be going on tour together with him as their agent. After thanking the passengers who spent the most time with them during their voyage, the pair perform their new song “One Galaxy,” which they wrote with the help of the passengers.

Sandro, Raithe, and Ouanni

When their song is over, Raithe bids the ship and its passengers a good night. The ship spends the night in the Adinax Nebula before jumping back to Chandrila in the morning. That night and in the morning Lenka, Raithe, and the Saja send some final thanks to their allies, while Talis sends a message to Croy’s.

As the passengers disembark from the ship, D3 bids them farewell from the holocolumn and repeats Shug’s old sentiment that their paths are forever intertwined. The launch pods return the passengers to their homeworlds and the story of the Halcyon comes to an end.
